Winter Seasonal

Food & Beverage

Cashier- Boreal & Soda Springs

  • Efficient and accurate operation of cash register, keeping the register area clean, and stocking shelves. Previous register experience preferred. Day & night shifts available.

Dishwasher (Boreal & Soda Springs)

  • Wash trays and dishes, keep the dish area clean. Day & night shifts available.

Line Cook/Busser- Boreal & Soda Springs

  • Serving customers, cooking food to order, keeping the serving area clean. Day & night shifts available.

Prep Cook

  • Openings: Boreal or Soda Springs. Stocking the serving line, helping the cook, keeping the kitchen clean, and assisting other Food & Beverage employees as needed. Day & night shifts available.

Mountain Operations

Janitor

  • Must be willing to learn the correct way to clean and maintain the property. Must be able to lift, carry, bend forward at the waist and use your legs and arms repeatedly. Must be willing to work in varying weather conditions. Must be hard working, goal oriented. Must have reliable transportation. English speaking is a plus.

Lift Operators

  • Operates lifts, ensure guest safety, and provides excellent customer service. Provides safe loading and unloading lifts. Maintain lift ramps by shoveling and raking, and cleaning snow from chairs. Provides excellent customer service by interacting with guests, answering questions, organizing lift lines, and helping load and unload small children safely. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be 18 years or older. Day and night shifts available.

Mountain Patrol

  • EMT certification is required. We have full time and part time positions available. Intermediate - Advanced skiing skills required. Daily duties include stabilization and transportation of injured guests, snow safety, maintenance of resort area signs, ropes, and padding, in addition to other duties.

Parking Attendants

  • Direct customers where to park and provide the first point of customer service to our guest. Park cars orderly and efficiently to maximize parking space. Provide friendly and useful information to customers as they enter resort property. Good physical condition, must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Mostly morning schedule.

Snow Removal Crew

  • Remove snow from parking lot and associated areas in preparation for guests. Experience with Heavy Equipment such as Plows, Loaders and Snowblowers
    required. Variable hours depending on weather.

Snow Tubing Attendants

  • Must be in good physical condition and enjoy working with families and young people. Snow ubing hill attendants are responsible for keeping our sledding area safe and controlled for our guests. There is ticket checking and some cashier responsibilities. Make sure all guests have paid, signed release forms, and are properly ticketed.

Snow Tubing Manager

  • This position is part of the Mountain Operations team and is responsible for the daily operation of the tubing hill at Boreal Mountain Resort. This includes but is not limited to the set-up of the tubing lanes, ensuring equipment is off the hill after closing, tubing ticket sales and for a quality experience to our guests. Responsible for operating the department within budgeted guidelines. Manager is responsible for staff performance, training and scheduling.

    Job Duties
    • Oversee staff of up to 15 employees operating Playland Tubing at Boreal. Includes hiring, training, scheduling and assigning daily duties.
    • Cash handling and ticket selling
    • Operate tubing carpet
    • Lead safe and efficient operation of tubing for both guests and employees according to company policies
    • Address any customer concerns in a polite and effective manner
    • Maximize profitability of Boreal’s tubing operation

Terrain Park Attendant

  • The Terrain Park Attendant works in a utility capacity, installing and maintaining park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banner tape; monitoring, maintaining, visually inspecting, and testing features in the freestyle parks and other locations where applicable. The Attendant acts as host in regard to crowd supervision, safety awareness education, Freestyle Terrain etiquette and guest relations.

Ticket Checkers

  • Behave maturely, be able to talk easily with guests, and provide guests with accurate information. Courteously check tickets in the lift maze, keep maze flowing in a smooth fashion, make sure all guests boarding the lift are properly ticketed. Assist lift operators shoveling, raking and keeping the lift station in proper order. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ticket Checkers can be as young as 14 years of age.

Mountain Services

Mountain Services Manager

  • The Mountain Services Manager is responsible for daily ticket sales operations, season pass process and guest services. The Mountain Services Manager is also the product manager of all ticket and pass products ensuring that all products sold through any outlet of Boreal Ridge Corp. fall into proper procedures and processes. Responsible for operating Boreal’s Mountain Services Dept. for a quality experience to our guests. Makes decisions regarding staffing, product selection, purchasing, pricing. Responsible for operating the department within budgeted guidelines. Manager is responsible for staff performance, training and scheduling.

    Minimum time in related position-- 2 years management and or supervisor experience in related business.
    Strong communication and public relations skills.
    Training/instructional background necessary.
    Familiarity with ski and snowboard industry.

Rental Manager

  • This position is part of the Mountain Services team that works together to provide friendly, quality and organized guest service. The manager is responsible for efficient and effective operation of the Mountain Sports Rental Shop, open 7 days a week renting alpine and snowboard sport and performance gear. This includes but is not limited to the repair shop, Demo shop, Ski check area, day and overnight ski storage and lockers. Makes decisions regarding staffing, product selection, purchasing, pricing. Responsible for operating the department within the budgeted guidelines. Manager is responsible for staff performance, training and scheduling.

    Minimum time in related position-- 2 years management and or Supervisor experience in related business.
    Strong communication and public relations skills.
    Training/instructional background necessary.
    Familiarity with ski and snowboard equipment.
    Minimum 5 years skiing or riding experience

Rental Shop

  • Rental cashiers, counter representatives, and techs to provide great service to our guests. Duties include boot fitting, ski/snowboard adjusting, and all aspects of running a rental shop. We offer day and night shifts. Prefer some customer service experience.

Retail Sales Associate

  • Familiarity with winter soft goods and winter apparel. Retail sales positions include cash and credit card handling. Prefer some retail and customer service experience. Some computer experience helpful.

Ticket Sellers

  • These positions are responsible for lift access products. This is an indoor position which is very interactive with the guests. Some computer experience necessary, cash handling and customer service experience a plus. Some night positions available.

Snowsports School

Children's Snowsports School Instructors

  • Must enjoy kids! The Boreal Children' Snowsports School is an indoor and outdoor program, so instructors will be teaching our guests to ski and snowboard, as well as indoor activities including games, videos, and art activities.

Children's Snowsports School Staff Trainer

  • Seeking a Lead Staff Trainer. Responsible for training Children's Sports School Staff. Duties Include but not limited to: Staff Training IE: Clinic Topics, Clinic Scheduling, Clinic Documentation, and Leading Clinics. This position will also require the teaching of Children Snowsports School Lessons. Must have good organizational skills, positive attitude, work well in team oriented environment, experience working with Children, and great customer service skills. PSIA Level 3 preferred, Level 2 minimum. Child Certs Preferred. P/T or F/T (schedule flexible). Pay DOE.

Children's Snowsports School Supervisor

  • Supervises the daily operation of Children's Snowsports School department at Boreal Mountain Resort. Assists in the hiring and training of Children's Snowsports School Staff. Oversees operations of kids program including instruction and food. Supervises staff assigned to Kids Club & Mountain Explorers each day as coaches in the ski/snowboard areas. Pay: DOE.

Children's Snowsports School Support Staff

  • Supports the daily operation of the Children's Snowsports School operation at Boreal Mountain Resort. Supports both the inside & outside operations including instruction and food. Must be good with children from 3 - 12 years of age. This is a non ski/snowboard instructor position.

Snowsports School Instructors

  • Boreal is looking for enthusiastic and motivated skiers or snowboarders who want to explore the exciting world of instruction. If you are interested in becoming an instructor, you should be capable of comfortably riding or skiing on most groomed blue runs and enjoy meeting new people.

Snowsports School Staff Trainer

Soda Springs Mountain Resort

Snowcat Operator

  • This position is based out of sister resort Soda Springs. Prepare and maintain a snow surface for skiers/riders of all levels. Fulfill the hauling needs and dozing needs of other departments. Assist with other various outside projects when needed. Work in extreme cold conditions and assist our mechanics, when needed, to troubleshoot breakdowns. Responsible for the safety of our guests and employees on the mountain. Physical labor will be required on a daily basis. Requires 2 years experience.
